Free enterprise is where buyers and sellers of their own free will come together in trade through a common monetary instrument. Regulatory bodies such as the Federal Trade Commission are completely oblivious to free markets and free enterprise whenb it comes to franchising. If a franchisor is forced to offer or send out information of an offer to a “prospective buyer” that he is unsure that he even wants to do business with, then in fact it is not free enterprise. It is forced enterprise. When Government is forcing one party against their will to do business with another party whom they are not sure about, that is not free enterprise, actually it is not even close. |

While on assignment in the East, I have enjoyed eating at a sandwich franchise by the name of Quiznos.I have not seen any in the Southwest yet. Does anyone have information relative to expansion plans? If not, a phone number/address for franchise info would be appreciated. Thanks, Hungry for opportunity in Texas.

While on assignment in the East, I have enjoyed eating at a sandwich franchise by the name of Quiznos.I have not seen any in the Southwest yet. Does anyone have information relative to expansion plans? If not, a phone number/address for franchise info would be appreciated. Quizno's has advertised franchise opportunities in Texas via Wall Street Journal classified business opportunity/franchise section about 2-3 months ago. I'm sure they haven't filled every spot yet. Quizno's is popular in Colorado. Texas definitely needs a Quizno's. Good luck! Julie O'Rourke

I loved Quiznos! I recently moved to SLC, UT, and have never seen one, but there were several in the Boulder/Denver CO area. I had no idea they were out East. Sorry I don't know more.

Hi, I don't have any info on the franchise except that one just opened in Boise, ID. Looks like the northwest is in the expansion plans. I ate there and found the food good and prices reasonable. They located the restraunt near a 3,000-5,000 employee plant and the fairgrounds in a high traffic area. Thier facade is also easily visible in the strip-mall. There is a lot of new expansion in the area as well. I couldn't imagine this business failing! Hope that helps, bigd
