Entering the world of franchising can be very exciting. You will have the opportunity to own and operate your own business, just with a higher chance of success from that of starting your own independent business. You will have a great support network and great systems in place to use. However you will still have decisions to make and you will still have a lot of work to do. Your efforts will determine the success of your franchise. Here are some tips to keep your franchise on top!

One of my clients has asked me to edit and put together the manu_script_ of her step-father's book (he has passed away). We want to publish it ourselves so her mother can have a book. What self-publishing services do you recommend? [snip] Another thing to consider is putting this together as a one-of-a kind, sort of high level scrapbook. Use beautiful paper, decorative elements

What self-publishing services do you recommend? Heather, there's a group of people called, I think, personal historians. Their business is to help people put together their memoirs and such. I'm sure they have a professional organization, and I'm betting there are even software packages for pulling together the stuff you'll need to take to the printer (not a vanity press per se). Do a little searching for this bunch and see what suggestions they have. Another thing to consider is putting this together as a one-of-a kind, sort of high level scrapbook. Use beautiful paper, decorative elements

copyrighted Disney characters. Why not indeed? Sounds divine. You should be in the book business, man.

I think he broke his wrist because his hand was pronate when it should have been supine. Ow.  Debbie sprained her wrist a bit on the ice.  If it had bruised and/or swollen I'd have called the doc, but we haven't heard back yet on her CHIP application so I gave her some tylenol and offered her a bag of frozen corn.   Mom!  You're so weird!

Lordy lordyŽ Why not a 12 X 14 pop-up book like they give kids to look at in those  little play areas while their mama's are seeing the dentist or getting their  hair done?  That way she doesn't have to worry about text at all, and she can  use all BIG fonts and lots of great colors, and clip art and cheap rip-offs  of copyrighted Disney characters. Why not indeed? Sounds divine. You should be in the book business, man.
